I adopted Grey Wind right after my girl cat Jude passed away. He was a ball of energy that brought love back into our home after suffering our loss. Here he is as a kitten. Not long after that I experienced a traumatic time in my life. They say that animals come into our lives at just the right time... in Summer's case the great "They" couldn't be more right! I found Summer at 5 months old living in the back parking lot of my job. Sleeping under cars and eating bugs. I had just moved Grey Wind into our own place I knew once she came up to me that she was meant to be mine. After asking around no one knew where she came from and no one claimed her so I took her home.
Here she is in one of her favorite places to rest... the bathroom sink!! I've had cats my whole life but never had one with freckles before!
These are my babies. They are the reason I smile everyday even when I find dirty cat paw prints all over the place cause they were digging in my plants. I love them with all my heart and because of the help given to me by Frankie's Friends, I am able to get them the care they need and do my part in keeping the homeless cat overpopulation down. That is my story. I am a single "Mom" to my two furry babies and even though my sister calls me the "Crazy Cat Lady" I wouldn't have it any other way.
