Lexie's story is heart breaking... She was found in on the streets of Puerto Rico by an organization called Paws4Survival. You can actually see her in this video at minute 4:40. We think she was JUST hit by a car and could barely walk/sit.
After getting rescued off the street, Lexie spent 7 months with her PR foster mom... who didn't think she was going to make it in the beginning. Here are some picture of Lexie in her stages of recovery.
While Lexie is a happy and brave dog, after adopting her I realized that she has trouble getting up and lying down. After some MRI scans, they saw she had a bad left knee and a bad right hip. We decided to give her total hip replacement to improve her life quality.
Today she's very happy :D
