With your help Van Gogh the puppy received stent placement surgery for severe pulmonic stenosis, giving him a chance for a long life. This is a note from his family.

I am overwhelmed by the love and support that I have received from Frankie’s Friends; because of their generous donation Van Gogh was able to receive a lifesaving stent surgery which will allow him to live a much longer life. Van went from only having a few short months to live, to 7-8 years with the possibility of more . Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for saving my puppy’s life.

Update from Van Gogh’s family…

Van Gogh is doing great!! He is still on a no activity restriction, which he will remain on for the next few months; he was finally about to have his first post surgery bath and he is a very happy boy! He will go back for a check up at UF Gainesville next month. Hopefully we will receive good news as to the healing of the two stents, and whether or not the procedure was successful. I will send you future updates as I have more news to share. Thank you so much for reaching out. We are so blessed to have found Frankie’s Friends; we are grateful for the help, and our lives are forever changed.
