Frankie’s Friends helped Legion from Savannah, GA to get surgery for bi-lateral cruciate repair. This is a note from his family.
“It means the world to us to receive a grant to achieve the amount needed to get Legion’s surgery. He is the sweetest dog in the world and he has a family that needs him and who won’t give up on him. Thank you so much for your generosity and consideration. Upon my research for needs such as this, I have come to realize that the resources are few and very far between. I have become inspired to start my own non-profit organization to help families, such as ours, in situations like this. These funds can be the difference between life or death when a family is faced to make a decision on whether to save their 4-legged family member or simply surrender them to the unknown - which is more than likely death.
