Frankie’s Friends helped Amelia receive the care she needed. This is a note from her family.
“Words can’t even begin to express my gratitude for the help I receive to help save Amelia’s life. I lost my dad and grandparents years ago, and then in 2018 I lost my mom, my job, my ability to work, and my Aunt. At this point Amelia is all I’ve got left. She’s my whole world, and I love her with all my heart. I haven’t had an income since September 2018, but I’m still trying desperately to save her. She gave me her unconditional love and trust, and I just can’t even conceive of throwing that and her life away like meaningless garbage when they COULD be saved, just because it costs a lot. To me, if I were rich, she’d be worth ten times or more the cost, but unfortunately I’m not. She not only lets me hold her, but she starts purring immediately when I pick her up. She’ll watch for me to go to the Kitchen, and she’ll immediately run in there and rub up against my ankles and meow to be picked up and petted. She’s SO sweet. I’m more grateful than you could know.”
