The JLACF Fund helped Yuri receive life saving radiation therapy for a malignant lump in Columbus Ohio. This is a note from Yuri’s family.

I would like to thank the donors for the help that they are able to provide to me and Yuri. I got Yuri 8 years ago when he was a kitten and it has been an adventure given Yuri’s energy level. He is an adventurous, loving and friendly cat. He is extremely smart and knows exactly what to do to get extra treats. I was extremely shocked and upset to learn about Yuri’s diagnosis after his surgery because he is extremely loved and I would never want anything to happen to him. I have paid about $750 out of pocket for Yuri’s treatment, which includes the cost of his initial surgery and a two follow-up visits at the OSU Veterinary Hospital. I know that in order for Yuri to love a longer healthier life he would need to undergo radiation therapy, which is costly. I would like to thank all of the donors for being gracious and providing my pet and other pets the opportunity to live a longer life.
