Frankie’s Friends helped Jarvis receive lifesaving surgery for a heart murmur. This is a note from his family.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help. When Jarvis was first adopted, we thought that with routine care and attentiveness we could provide what was needed for his heart murmur. However, it progressed from non-life threatening to life threatening and we found out that he needed open chest surgery. This unfortunately was not the expense we had budgeted for. Without your generosity his surgery would be an even larger burden because there is no way we could not go ahead with it. We have had many family pets throughout the past 25 years, and while each one is precious and has been deeply loved, in the past few weeks that Jarvis has been a part of the family, he has stolen our hearts. He is lovable, sweet, calm, and quick to learn. Thank you for all you do, for helping alleviate the pain and worry families experience!”
