Frankie’s Friends Hope Fund helped Sarabi receive the emergency care she needed for a foreign body at BluePearl in Seattle. This is an update from Sarabi’s family.
“Sarabi is doing fantastic. We stayed strict to the recovery plan, keeping her calm (never an easy task with a Belgian Malinois), had her eating the food and frequency recommended by the vet, and kept her “coned up” for two weeks. She went to have the same surgeon, Dr. Vince, remove her staples on Tuesday. We’re ramping her back up to her normal activity levels, but she’s more than ready to go chase her ball any time we’ll let her.
Thank you so much for everything SPS/BluePearl and Frankie’s Friends has done. Sarabi is Harley, the beautiful eight year old’s very best friend (turning nine next week!), who is so unbelievably thankful for a full recovery.
