Frankie’s Friends helped Bubbles receive life saving care for cancer treatments at BluePearl in Tampa FL. This is a note from Bubble’s family.
“ Hey there, my name is Bubbles and Frankie’s Friends recently helped my Mom & me get through a scary time. My mom is going to tell my story:
Back around Thanksgiving time we discovered a lump on Bubbles front arm. By Christmas time it was confirmed as MCT (Mast Cell Tumor) and by the New Year we were starting Chemo treatment with an awesome Oncology Team at BluePearl in Tampa. Things were going well, even after only two treatments! His MCT is going away!! Then, one evening when side effects dropped his White Blood Cell count, we hit a bump in the road. We aren’t sure completely what happened but, Bubbles crashed and crashed hard. We took him to the ER & then eventually to our Oncology Team in Tampa. He wasn’t doing well and badly needed continued care being hospitalized for a few days.
This was a very unexpected expense. Pouring out what we could we hit a point where we couldn’t move forward with any more care. That’s when Frankie’s Friends stepped in and saved the day. With tears in my eyes, I can’t express how much it means to me that Frankie’s Friends was willing to step in to help me out. You guys are amazing! I am truly forever thankful. ❤”
