Kanna had a freak accident while I was sleeping. My husband woke me up and ran out the room with her to get help. She was teething and she bit a cord that was plugged in. She was shocked. My mother and grandma helped me with Kanna while we got the address to the vet. When we got there, they took her right away. She was in an oxygen chamber for two days along with medication. They sent her home with medication to get the rest of the swelling down from her mouth. She took all of her medicine. The swelling went away. She is starting to become her usual self again. She just has to take it easy. Usually she’s very energetic but she has to stay calm for a few more days until her lungs fully heal. My family really appreciated the donation to help pay for her stay. We were sitting in the office wondering how we were going to come up with the rest of the money and the next day they called us and said that Frankie’s Friends are going to help. I literally cried tears of happiness. I didn’t know what we were going to do. The donation helped pay for extra time Kanna needed to be in the hospital to be healthy enough to come home so that we didn’t have to worry about any other complications. Thank you so much. My husband and I are so grateful for your organization. The one of Kanna laying down was the night we got her back from the hospital she was so scared and excited to be home at the same time it tired her out very quick, and the other photo is recent of today she enjoys putting on a fashion shows and running around. Just a few days being out of the hospital she was running around like crazy acting as if she never gotten hurt. Thank you so much.
