Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Blue receive the lifesaving surgery he needed for a cancer related illness. This is a note from Blue’s family.
“Blue is a special loyal dog and has been healthy up until about 3 weeks ago. I cringed every time I saw his lesion (tumor). It also killed me to see him struggle to have a proper bowel movement. He limped around as the tumor had turned muscular. My daughter and I prayed to God every day in the hope to be able to have the two surgeries performed on our family dog. My daughter has a friend who just put their family dog down as a result of their inability to pay for veterinarian care. My daughter cried herself to sleep and we both hoped that we would not have to go through the same situation. Every day or every time he slept we worried that since he looked so tired we he would not wake up one day from all the pain that he has suffered together with all the blood that he loses on a daily basis. It broke my heart to see my daughter this way and even more so to see my animal struggle and not be able to do anything about it. God bless the organizations that have helped animals in need. I thank you for your assistance. Rest assured that your assistance is greatly appreciated. I pray to God to see my dog open and active as he recently was. This seems like just the other day.”
