Frankie’s Friends helped Luke receive the life changing care he needed post dog attack, when his owner, a nurse, lost their job due to COVID-19.

Luke is our family. He is my little rock and shoulder to cry on. He means more to me than words can explain. My family has been through a lot and through it all, we have always had faith and I have had my little guy to talk to. Thank you for taking the time to read about our situation. This is a scary time to be a nurse as it is, and this is making it nearly impossible. I am ready to have my boy back home. I only have my 2 daughters and my furbabies. Both of my parents and my stepfather have passed, so our family has really included Luke as a major part of it. My oldest daughter always would tell me, as she was growing up, that I loved Luke more than I loved her (as I was requesting assistance with a minimal chore lol) and I really could never argue it...should any of us pick one child over another? :) The emotional trauma has been rough, I cant eat or sleep. I keep thinking about what happened and seeing it in my head. Him looking at me as I performed CPR on him begging him not to give up. And he didn’t..he is a fighter and he just needs a little more of our support. It would mean the world to me. I can assure you that I will get back to my usual self of giving and helping others instead of being the one asking for the help. God bless.
