Frankie’s Friends Hope Fund helped Whitepaw receive life saving treatment for a urinary obstruction at BluePearl Midtown Hospital in New York. This is a note from Whitepaw’s family.
“I am writing this note to express all of the gratitude that I have towards the Frankie’s Friends organization. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that we are currently facing, I lost my only stream of income and had to move back home from college. On the bright side of everything was the fact that I would be living with my cats again. But then my kitty, Whitepaw, became ill.
I spent the last bit of my savings to pay what I could for his first day of treatment and when I was told he would need more days of hospitalization, I didn’t know how I’d be able to cover it. Then the finance team at BluePearl Hospital told me about Frankie’s Friends. Because of you, my Whitepaw was able to receive the necessary treatment to get him all better and back home to our family.
