Frankie’s Friends Hope Fund helped Skylar receive the surgery she needed at BluePearl in Gwinnett, GA for a broken leg. This is an update from Skylar’s family.
“Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for Frankie’s friends. Without their help my dog Skyler would have ended up with a missing leg because I just simply could not afford it the cost of her surgery. I was sad, hurt, and worried about the situation so when the treatment team at BluePearl told me about the possibility of me getting a grant I cried almost immediately. Everyone I have encountered with at this hospital has been very sweet and patient the entire time. I want to give a big thank you to them as well especially Dr. Nelson for performing such a successful surgery. Frankie’s Friends saves lives, it’s just that simple. Weeks ago Skyler wouldn’t even get up when I came through the door because her leg was broken so bad, now she’s running around howling at anything walks by like her normal crazy self.
