Frankie’s Friends Hope Fund helped Feen receive the life-saving surgery he needed for narrowing of the pelvic canal at BluePearl in at Richmond, VA. This is an update from Feen’s family.
“Not only did this surgery save Feen’s life, it has changed it. He almost doesn’t have to take medication at all anymore. He is back to being himself, he seems to feel great. He was a rather bony boy post surgery, but I have already gotten his proper weight back up. I didn’t visually document his weight changes, but I have images of his healed incision. And some of his grateful face as I hand feed him with his first day wearing the cone. Now I’m not in constant fear of something happening with him or making a small mistake. I love him so much, I can’t properly express how grateful I am that he gets to live and be loved. ”
