Frankie’s Friends helped to save our Hiccup’s life. We brought him to an emergency vet after a fall in July and found out that he had very abnormal blood values. Fast forward through a possible terminal cancer diagnosis and a lot of heartbreak. Hiccup had been found to have a very serious arthritis. He had lost almost 30 pounds and in his severely weakened state he tore both of his ACLs. We started to panic because there was no way we could afford 2 separate surgeries after the many visits with an oncologist. Thanks to Frankie’s Friends we were able to get both of the surgeries and after 6 months of pure torture our fur baby is ready to play and soon he’ll be able to run again. He hasn’t been able to run and play with his fur siblings in 6 months. We thought we would only have a few months with our baby but thanks to an amazing orthopedic surgeon and the help of Frankie’s Friends, our boy has many years ahead. I truly cannot thank them enough for their part in saving his life and making sure he lives as long and happily as possible.
