Frankie’s Friends Bonds Fund helped Louie receive specialty eye surgery.. This is a note from Louie’s family.

UPDATE!

I cannot thank Frankie’s Friends enough for their support both financial and emotional. My dog Louie was diagnosed with diabetes and became blind secondary to diabetes suddenly . It was devastating for Louie and me . Louie became depressed and withdrawn with his blindness, at only 8 years old this isn’t the life I imagined for my best friend . I was not financially prepared for the cost of cataract surgery . Through Frankie’s Friends I was able to give Louie his sight back and his personality He is his old self again , happy and spunky ! I am forever grateful.

Being that I am a nurse I am drawn to help others. In this situation I want to help myself and my poor baby Louie . I give of myself everyday and for Frankie’s Friend to be able to help me give back to my Louie dog and return his sight would be the best gift ever in this year of depression and disease.

Louie is my heart and soul and he brightens my day no matter how bad it has been . Always waiting for me with wagging tail and kisses . This time he needs me , blindness has thrown him into a depression and my happy puppy is sad . Thank you for helping me give Louie his wag back.
I promise to return the favor in the future to another pup of Frankie’s friend in need.

I promise to always remain kind and help in any way I can to those in need pups and people. Our lives are so precious as this year has shown us all I just want my baby to see again so he can enjoy his life. His favorite thing is to sit in backyard and watch the birdies and wildlife.

Thank you for finding it in your hearts to help my best friend - he has helped me through so much including the death of my father.
