Frankie’s Friends JLACF Fund helped Apple receive the life changing radiation therapy she needed for a cancerous mass. This is a note from Apple’s family.

I adopted Apple in January 2019 from a South Los Angeles shelter after falling in love with her around September 2018 on a volunteer-run instagram account called rescuealove. She was unfortunately abused and, as a result, took a long time to trust humans (including me). She moved with me from LA to Oakland, she’s weathered the pandemic with me, she prefers to go on three or more walks a day, and she makes sure I eat a meal whenever she eats a meal. But she got diagnosed with cancer in February of this year and will have to undergo a third surgery before she can even begin radiation therapy. She has immensely increased my quality of life in more ways than I could have ever anticipated. I want to be able to continue to increase her quality of life in return and this is only possible with the help of funds from individual donors that contribute to the Joshua Louis Animal Cancer Fund support. Thank you for choosing to donate to help keep our two-creature (one human, one senior pup) family happy, healthy, and whole.
