Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Potato receive the emergency FHO surgery he needed to repair a fracture. This is a note from Potato’s family.
“Thank you for the opportunity to even apply for this wonderful grant to try to fix our beloved Potato. He is a treasure to our family. My children count on Potato as an emotional support animal. Potato is such a laid back, good natured cat. It is so hard to believe that he has broken his hip and is in need of surgery. He is still just a baby, only 14 months old. we have raised Potato and his brothers from just 5 days old when his mother was killed by a car. I turned into Potato’s mother from that day forward.
