Frankie’s Friends Bonds Fund helped Dude with life changing bilateral parotid duct transplant surgery for his corneal degeneration. This is a note from Dude’s family.

After reading the story of how the The Bond Fund was created I couldn’t have been more touched and thankful for the people that rescued Bond and gave him a second chance at life despite his age and medical condition. Not only that, but further expanding their generosity and creating this fund to help other animals in need also looking for a chance in life. I admired and am grateful for everyone that makes The Bond Fund work as I can’t imagine the tireless work hours put into such a wonderful cause to benefit pets in need who they have never even met, yet are generous enough to provide financial assistance to struggling pet parents like myself. Since you have never met my dog, I would like to introduce you to him. Dude is a senior dog, who I’ve had for over 11 years, and he is the sweetest boy I have ever met. Because of him I became aware of animal welfare that I became Vegan and began to volunteer with organizations. I fostered several dogs and cats mostly with behavioral issues and Dude has saved their lives by being instrumental in their rehabilitation and getting them adopted. He has also helped injured animals be nursed back to health as he provides them with comfort. Lately, he has been a hero in helping me trap several feral cats to have them spay and neutered, by going out to the backyard, befriending them and bringing them back to the house. Since I became disabled, I fell into depression, but he has become my emotional support dog and has mentally and emotionally saved my life. Fixing Dude’s eyes is a true blessing and The Bond Fund does just that, for many of the wonderful pets out there. Words can’t express the immense gratitude I feel towards this organization for everything they do, God Bless You.
