Frankie’s Friends helped Simba and Nana receive lifesaving emergency care during Hurricane Ian. This is a note from their family.

Our Dogs Simba, Neveah and Nala are the literally part of our soul they have been with us through the most troubling times from fighting mental and physical illnesses in the military, being homeless and even depression. These dogs are just more than babies to us. They’re our link to life itself to us. Everyday coming home just to see all 3 of them literally doggy pile you was the turning point of the day regardless if we had a bad or good day. Simba is the biggest baby he thinks he 10lbs and tries to squeeze in the most obnoxious places from the crack of space between you legs to the slight open cabinet space. While he loves to roll around annoyingly in dirt and grass he always gave us the entertainment we needed. Nala is our “Spicy” jumping jelly bean, spicy because she is a drama queen and princess that needs her way or there is no other way. Our jumping jelly bean absolutely loves to jump and play with her siblings and likes to take our belongings everyday from socks to literally stealing a cookie skillet from the kitchen she us normally a “bug” to the two but an angel to all. Neveah our sweet and softy girl was basically the mother of the two while she was the middle child. Neveah literally took care of Simba and Nala by not only coddling them during storms but cleaning them, nursing them when they are nervous and upset. We can even vouch that she taught Nala how to play and guided her on how to be a dog. Neveah unfortunately passed in a house fire where all 3 dogs were in but we know her spirit and her guidance will forever protect the 2 as she always did.

We thank you guys so much for the donation. These dogs are our life lines and the donation provided was the greatest thing we needed in our lives. Thank you so much.
