Frankie’s Friends Bond’s Fund helped Dixie receive the life changing surgery she needed for a mass removal from her third eyelid. This is a note from Dixie’s family.

Dixie like so many found herself put out on the side of the road. The road just happened to be the one I reside on and she was let go in the ditch in front of our property. Dixie is a senior, and after I could not find an owner I took her to the vet for a check up. She was healthy except for being heart worm positive. It took a long time and I saved up enough to put her through the fast heart worm treatments. December of last year she was cleared as negative! I made a promise to this senior gal we would take care of her and I have. The mass appeared this year and due to job loss it’s out of my budget, however I want to make good on my promise. I am beyond grateful for the assistance and that others care as much as we do and Dixie can have this off her eye to prevent other local problems. The assistance from Bond’s Fund is life changing for us and Dixie just to keep the mass from growing larger and causing further issues. Thank you so much!!!
