Frankie’s Friends Hope Fund helped Klaus receive the lifesaving surgery he needed for a urinary obstruction at BluePearl in Kirkland WA. This is a note from his family.

I want to thank you and your wonderful organization for all the help provided to us when Klaus was in emergency care.

Klaus came to us when my sister rescued his mom last winter. The momma cat had 3 kittens total. Klaus and his brother River were very bonded so we found it hard to separate them. The week that he was in the ER was the longest these two have been apart. Ever since his return home they have been inseparable!

We really could not have been able to afford his vet bills, let alone the emergency surgery he had. When we got the call from the vet that he was going to stay longer, something we did not have the budget for, we weren’t sure what we were going to do. The vet told us that he needed the surgery or we would have to put him down, something we had been trying to avoid. Thanks to Frankie’s Friends he was able to get the surgery and I am happy to report that he is back to his regular schedule kitten shenanigans! Of course with limitations, doctors orders! He is now eating special food to help his urinary tract.

Thank you so much Frankie’s Friends for ALL the help you provided for Klaus and for all those pets in need.
