Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Bambino receive emergency surgery for a leg amputation after an accident shattered his femur. This is a note from Bambino’s family.
“Bambino is one of my children. I am forever grateful. Amputation is very scary and is the last thing we wanted to do however due to how shattered the femur is it would be much more costly and less effective to do surgery to try to put it back together. He is the brother to another four legged dog named Callie and two cats that he loves. My children are scared for him because they don’t want to lose him. Since the accident there have been countless nights where I haven’t slept- just stay up and ice the leg for him but there is no recovery until the amputation. We are just so thankful for your help.”
