Frankie’s Friends helped Stevie receive emergency surgery for a fracture repair. This is a note from her family.
“Stevie Nicks, was attacked on 08/09/23. Stevie was seen by her vet in San Jose CA. The vet stated Stevie’s injury would require surgery. Unfortunately this is something that could wait and I didn’t have the available funds to cover it. Stevie needed a femur fracture repair surgery. I adopted Stevie two months ago she is now approximately 5 months old. She is up to date with her vaccinations, is spayed and has a microchip.
Stevie hasn’t been part of our little family for long but she came to us when we needed her the most, as we are building our life back up from scratch. My daughter has grown attached to her and not having Stevie be part of our family breaks our hearts. Although my daughter and I are doing our best to keep Stevie safe and as comfortable as possible until funds are collected for her surgery I am worried her injuries would worsen. Anything and everything helps during this time. We hope to keep our little family together.”
