Frankie’s Friends JLACF Fund helped Chelsea receive chemotherapy treatment for multicentric lymphoma. This is a note from Chelsea’s family.

I don’t think the words, “Thank” and “You” could appropriately convey my deep and sincere gratitude for even the donation. In September of 2022, my best friend of 35 years took her life by self-immolation. Chelsea provided me with the love, support, and distraction I needed while I processed my grief from the terrible loss. In March 2023, I walked away from a 12-year career as a K-12 Special Educator. The past 12 months have just felt like loss after loss, and I know that I am not ready for another one. I can emotionally prepare to say goodbye Chelsea, but I need her a little while longer. And I am so appreciative to you for understanding that and offering us both a second chance. I do plan to return the favor once I become a little bit more financially stable. If I was only able to buy three months for a momma and her furbaby, I know that they would be better for it. So while saying “Thank” and “You” feels terribly inadequate...it’s really all I have.
