Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Myka receive lifesaving surgery for a foreign body. This is a note from Myka’s family.
“Your help means the world to me. I love my dog with all my heart, she was given to me by my granddaughter (now 17) who saved money from items she sold in a garage sale to be able to rescue her from a family who could no longer care for her. I may not have much but Myka is loved very much. She has served as an emotional support animal and goes everywhere with me. In recent years my disability has made it impossible to work and because of that I am unable to pay for this life saving surgery that she needs. I honestly do not know what I would do without her. Your help means that I wouldn’t lose my best friend and I assure you that I would pay it forward as soon as I am able.”
