Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Liloo receive an emergency cystotomy for bladder stones. This is a note from Liloo’s family.

For the past 5 yrs, I have undergone numerous surgeries, chemotherapy treatments, and radiation treatments. I spent many a nights camping out on my bathroom floor with pillow and blanket, to weak to even crawl back into my bed after hours of pain and nausea. Through all of that, liloo has been by my side. Also there with a head butt, a tail wag, a goofy smile, and lick to my face. She never let me down and her support was everything to me. When I traveled out of state for treatments, she came along. When I go to the hospital for weekly treatments, she comes along and stays with my dad in the van awaiting my return. She has come into the chemotherapy clinic many times to offer her support to me and all the other patients getting treatments. She is always a huge hit on visiting days, placing smiles on those who don’t have a lot to smile about these days. She is missed when she can not visit and I always get inquiries as to when she will return. Liloo is my heart, my hope and my world. She is always here for me, ever vigilant in her watch over me. She deserves so much more than I can give her. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for the help, hope, and compassion you provide. With your help, liloo will continue to bring joy and love to those who are desperately in need of a distraction from their ailments, and enthusiastically giving out doggy wags and kisses to all.
