Frankie’s Friends Hurricane Fund helped Juan receive emergency ear surgery at BluePearl in Naples Florida. This is a note from Juan’s family.
“Juan is doing so much better. He is like a different cat.
The bilateral surgery has been very difficult on him as it is extremely painful and he did not eat, drink or urinate for 48 hours. That was scary. Started giving him force feedings of high calorie liquids, stimulation medicine for him to eat and two different kinds of pain medicine. He’s been a trooper.
Today is the first day he got up on the bed and was meowing and acting somewhat normal.
I cannot think your organization enough for your assistance. He was in so much pain before and now he is coming and rubbing on my feet and laying over wanting his belly rubbed. That’s the cat I knew that was in there!
