Frankie’s Friends helped Lolga receive emergency lifesaving treatment at BluePearl in Raleigh NC when she ingested human medication. This is a note from Lola’s family.
“I was in the process of packing to move out of state when Lola got into my medications. Poison control said to take her to the emergency vet immediately. BluePearl was the emergency vet. A few days after her treatment, we packed into the car and drove across country to train for my new job. I cannot begin to tell you how much Frankie’s Friends helped. We had no idea what Lola may or may not have ingested. One medication, in particular, a single pill would have been toxic and have caused liver failure. Had it not been for Frankie’s Friends, I would not have been able to get her the treatment. Had she not had the treatment, then it would have just been a matter of time before we knew what would happen and then it would be too late to do anything should she have had liver failure. April 25th was Lola’s 2nd birthday, and we are still here and happy and healthy to celebrate it. Without BluePearl and Frankie’s Friend, that could be a very different story. Thank you.”
