Frankie’s Friends Hope Fund helped Rhyder received emergency surgery for a herniated disc at BluePearl, Stone Oak in San Antonio TX. This is a note from Rhyder’s family.
“Hello Frankie’s friends! I wanted to express my extreme gratitude and appreciate to all of you at the organization for putting such an amazing foundation together and to all of those who donate for this cause.
Rhyder came into my life when he was just five weeks old. He was my first pet on my own at 20 years old. He has help me overcome so much in the nine years that I have had him. I now have a seven-year-old son whom he has been an absolute comfort to, and best friend since the day he was born. Rhyder needed emergency surgery to save him from euthanasia on Friday June 2. I did not have the funds as a single mom/ single household to save my dog. I brought him home for the weekend to try and do everything I could. I was told about your organization from my boyfriend, who reached out to many others on social media. By the grace of God, your foundation offered to help significantly with the cost to save my dog.
Rhyder’s surgery was performed Monday June 5. He made it through the surgery and is now on the road to recovery! Without your help I don’t know what we could have done. We are so incredibly thankful and cannot wait to pay it forward. I was able to visit with Rhyder today and wanted to share some photos. Once he is home, I would love to send more photos of him and my son being reunited!
