Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Delilah receive lifesaving surgery to correct a soft palate so she could breathe. This is a note from her family.

When I first saw Delilah’s face I instantly fell in love with her. I knew she was special and deserved the best home possible. I never expected her condition to be this serious as I was told by the rescue that her facial deformity is only cosmetic but it turns out this is life threatening and will kill her if something isn’t done. I’ve done everything in my power to find her the best care. After seeing 2 vets and 1 specialist that said nothing could be done, I felt discouraged but I carried on in my search and the amazing vet team at Colorado State University finally gave me hope. I am doing everything in my power to get the funds to save my baby’s life. You are saving a life by helping and I cannot thank you enough. This has been the most stressful thing I have gone through but it makes me happy knowing Delilah has a team of people behind her trying to give her a chance at life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
