Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Echo receive emergency surgery for a mass removal. This is a note from Echo’s family. “Echo is the definition of the best boy.He loves every human that’s ever existed, is smart and stubborn like the blue heeler in him, playful like the black lab that makes up the rest of him, and loves to play and verbally argue for the things he wants (popcorn and bananas are his favorite). He’s been a defining piece of my life through my twenties and into my thirties, and he has so much life him still.I can’t stand to watch him limp every day and struggle with stairs while im not in a financial position to pay for a surgery that could help him make the most of the years he has ahead of him. He brings so much joy to everyone in both our lives.Echo shows me everyday how much better my life is with him as my best friend. If i somehow manage to find the help he needs, I wouldn’t know where to begin thanking someone for the donations it would take to help Echo have a better quality of life. It would just do so much for both of us and finally take this weight and pressure off of me, something that’s with me all the time. But I can promise from everything in me: that when I’m more financially stable - I’m going to pass this gratitude on to someone else who’s in this horrible position of feeling helpless and fearful. We don’t deserve what dogs bring to our lives and I think that’s why they help us become better people.” — Echo's Family Comment
