“Thank you for this opportunity. My husband and I have been married for 45 years and we are both retired. I am on Social Security disability and he is on Social Security. We have had many dogs during our 45 year marriage and all of our dogs have been adopted from rescues. We have always had two dogs at one time. Kam is special because I picked him out to help in my mental support when I became severely ill 5 years ago. He is my best buddy and his best friend is our other dog Sage who is a pocket pitbull. Unfortunately due to the cost of his surgery we are having difficulty paying the full amount and any help you can give us is greatly appreciated. It means the world to me to get him back to his normal self and have him have a long life as all of the dogs we have had have been with us until they left for the rainbow bridge at old ages.”
