Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Navy receive lifesaving surgery for a mass removal. This is a note from Navy’s family.

Hi great people and thank you so much for taking the time out to get to know us and helping us. Navy has been in my life since he was 2 months old. A pet store had just shut down and was going to take him to the shelter because he was the last animal left and I got him! He’s 13.5 years young. I got him June 1st 2010 and he came into my life when I very ill myself and helped me to get better. I love him like a child matter in fact that’s my son. He’s very special and silly . However these past couple hasn’t been to well with him since he’s been lethargic and haven’t diarrhea. I made an appointment for him but when right before we got to the vet his anus protruded and started bleeding bad. Upon inspection it wasn’t nothing they could do I took him to the hospital and they cleaned him up and gave him some pain medicine to last him for 3 days and some antibiotics. They said honestly he won’t make it past next week if surgery isn’t performed on him. I haven’t eaten since he got sick. I went around to other hospitals but they couldn’t help. This one is the only one that can get him in same day and treat him. I’m asking please for you great donors help. I don’t have my parents I don’t have family here and he’s all I have. Thank you for helping me.
