Frankie’s Friends Bond’s Fund helped Lucy with specialty eye surgery. This is a note from Lucy’s family.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and paws for considering helping us and other pets in need of financial assistance in a medical crisis. People who give hope to animals and their owners, in my book, are the best kind of people!! My poodle rescued me and saved the life of my mother; I would do anything to take care of her. The thought of not being able to afford her the ability to see breaks my heart to the core. I hold back tears as I write this, I don’t know how I could work and save enough within the time given to have her sight corrected through cataract surgery, but bypassing this crucial surgery is not an option. I’m doing all I can to find a way to pay for it and I cannot thank people like you and avenues like this enough for helping people and pets like us. Please know we are forever grateful because this opportunity will change the way we approach every day for the remaining years Lucy and I will spend together!!
