Frankie’s Friends helped Mazzie receive emergency cruciate and patella surgery. This is a note from Mazzie’s family.

We cannot thank you enough for your support during this difficult time! Thanks to your generosity my service dog, Mazzie, is on the mend and not only out of pain, but regaining her quality of life and mine as she is able to return to her designated service tasks with more ease thanks to your contribution. Since I rescued her 7 years ago, Mazzie has been the cornerstone of my life. When we embarked upon service training together, we didn’t know what would become of it as she was not a puppy at the time, but 3 years old. She rose to the challenge and our journey has been even more special and improved both of our lives and our bond together. She has always been an active girl and her favorite activity is chasing her ball-it not only upset our daily routine with her being unable to walk and in pain, but visibly took so much of her joy. Thank you for returning the life to her eyes and taking away her pain, and bringing back my girl to me! You truly make all of the difference in the lives of those (two and four-legged!) who need it. I look forward to being able to pay this deed forward!
