In Loving Memory of Binx
“Binx was our constant companion for eight wonderful years! I found him outside one late October day, cold and sick from the weather. It took a few days and a vet appointment to get him healthy again. Our bond was permanent from that day forward. He was a very friendly and outgoing cat who loved chasing critters, climbing trees and visiting with the people around us . He brightened our days and knew how to be extra loving when they weren’t so bright. He was truly one of a kind, with his unique personality and his handsome face always warming our hearts.
This year was especially difficult for Binx and our family. We found out he had cancer which would require hospitalization and emergency surgery to remove it. We didn’t have the resources to pay for such a procedure, so we asked for help through crowdfunding. The overwhelming support and compassion we received gave us hope that he would pull through. We made an ER appointment but found his cancer had spread and was inoperable. Sadly, we had to let our best friend go.
The proceeds of the donations we received are being paid forward to Frankie’s Friends and Paws for a Cause. Families in our situation will receive financial assistance to pay for the lifesaving procedures and treatments their pets need. Binx touched so many lives while he was with us and now, he can continue to do so in spirit. We love you, Binxy!”
