In Loving Memory of Alfie

Alfie was our beloved corgi boy and our whole world. A handsome, rambunctious, stubborn, too-smart-for-his-own-good, hilarious soul that brought so much joy to his daddies and to everyone he met.

Alfie got to travel, hike, and swim through 17 different states, and was always ready for his next adventure. He hiked the Red Rock mountains in Colorado, swam in a waterfall in Utah, played on both the Pacific and Atlantic beaches, saw the Grand Canyon, visited his dinosaur ‘ancestors’ bones in the desert, and even sailed a boat.

He also loved the simple things in life; belly scratches, playing fetch, burying his head in the snow, sleeping on his daddy’s pillow, and most importantly, FOOD.

Alfie was diagnosed with a rare systemic mastocytosis just after his 8th birthday, and crossed the rainbow bridge 8 months later. We mourn so heavily, but we’re so grateful for the treatment our oncology team provided and was able to give Alfie an incredible quality of life for a disease that often claims dogs’ lives too soon. We were lucky to have the time, money, and resources to give Alfie the best care, and hope our donation to Frankie’s Friends can provide assistance to families to help their loving pet family members.
