Frankie’s Friends and JLACF helped Kodie from PA to get chemo treatments for lymphoma. This is a note from Kodie’s family.

I want to first and foremost thank you for even reading my words. I do not envy you for the decisions you have to make when it comes to funding. I know that if you could, you would fund everyone who is in need, and I thank you for that.

Because of my colon cancer diagnosis and operation last year (my progress has been good), Kodie will probably be my last dog. I have had Malamutes all my life and admire and love them as my children. Kodie is exceptionally special and has been a blessing to my life since the day I rescued him from the Shelter in Altoona, PA. As you know, the love and attention we all receive from our animals is priceless and unconditional.

My one prayer now is to help Kodie overcome this Lymphoma for as long as he can (quality of life most important) so that we can both enjoy the time we have together a little longer.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
