Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Hershey, a service dog, receive the treatment he needed recovering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. This is a note from Hershey’s family.

Hershey and I are a team. He is not the typical pet in an every day household. He is my Battle buddy.

We have been a team going on 6 years, 3.5 years as an official service dog team. Hershey has helped me in my every day life, as a medical alert dog, as well as other limiting tasks for me every day.

This surgery is crucial for him to continue to serve not only me, but also assist in the training of other service dog teams. In the spirit of “Paying it forward” I volunteer for (TADSAW) and Positive Bully Breed Training in Fayettville NC.

Because of your willingness to help my service dog, allows me to continue to monitor his recovery, and to focus on him, since he has spent the last 6 years focusing on me.

I truly want to thank you for the help you have provided to Hershey, In my heart he has earned it. So from my heart Thank you for helping him. He is the key to my livelihood, that you have restored.

Sincerely and Respectfully
— Hershey's Family
