Frankie’s Friends helped Blaze receive surgery for a spinal carcinoma. This is a note from his family.

I’ve had my dog Blaze since he was 5 weeks old and he is now 12. He is a Blue nose pitbull but very much a big old baby. He is a house dog well mannered/ trained. I like to call him my first baby. He lived a great life, he’s energetic, goofy and most of all extremely loving. Along the years I had two kids Giselle who is 9 now and Neeko who is 6. As most pets do within time....he has become their dog more than mine lol. Within the years unfortunately Blaze developed a mass and on 4/15/2017 he went for surgery and he was diagnosed with Grade 1 Spindle Carcinoma. From the incision scar it was very traumatic to my kids especially my oldest to see the incision, scar and drains. He’s not just a dog, he’s family you know. As the years went on he was doing great until now he recently has developed a mass in the same area. This is heart breaking because this time it is rapidly growing. It’s bigger than an apple. I am recently going through a divorce and given everything that is going on it’s all hitting me at once. I am a single mom that gets no help and I want to be able to give my dog the surgery he needs. He is still so full of life, he eats well and using the bathroom normally. I know he still has life left in him and I cant bear to see him suffer like this. Your help truly means the world to me and both of my kids as Blaze plays a major part in my family and with all the changes that have been happening with my family I don’t want my kids or family going through another heartbreak. Thank you for taking the time out to hear our story.
