Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Rayna receive the surgery she needed for cruciate tear ligaments in both legs. This is a note from Rayna’s family. “Hello! And thank you from the bottom of my heart for donating to Rayna’s surgery. I rescued her from a shelter in Brooklyn when she was 6 months old and she’s been my best friend ever since - moving with me from NY to Texas and now to North Carolina. I had one of the hardest years of my life last year going through something that caused me to change my life utterly and completely and I cant imagine having done it without her. She’s a young, hyper, playful pittie who would go absolutely everywhere with me if she could. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been able to be the case lately. Her hind legs have failed her for reasons I’m not sure of and I simply want to get the process started to make sure that she can have a full life on walks/hikes, playing with other dogs, and continuing to travel with me and love on everybody as she loves to do. It would mean the world to me to start her “fixing” process now. I’ll be home and taking classes online for the next 2 months throughout the summer and able to be with her through the recovery process so I can’t think of a better time than now to get her more severe leg operated on. Thank you again and thank you for the work that you do for pets in need well and beyond Rayna’s case. ” — Rayna's Family Comment
