Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Mars, a four month old puppy, receive emergency surgery to repair a fractured femur. Mars was on her way to the dog park and got out of her seatbelt harness and jumped out of the back window in her excitement to get to there. This is a note from Mars’ family.

I would like to thank everyone who took the time to read my application and donate to Mars’ cause. Mars was prescribed to me as an emotional support dog by my psychiatrist to treat my anxiety depression and bipolar disorder. She is more than just a family pet to me. She is my best friend. When she hurts I hurt and you have given me the opportunity to give her a long and normal life. This means more to me than you could ever imagine. You have given me sunshine on a very cloudy day and for that alone, I will love and appreciate your kindness forever.
