Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Darla get the lifesaving surgery she needed. This is a note from her family.
“I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for assistance in providing for our new kitten. We watched her grow and watched her siblings and mama leave or get eaten by coyotes and knew since she was the last one left we needed to help her. After my youngest daughter died in 2020 my other two girls and I lost a piece of us. And while I am not saying by any means Darla is replacement - she is giving the three of us the opportunity to love, care, and have hope again. We never imagined helping a kitten would bring us joy but the last two weeks caring for her and watching her thrive has been amazing. With the help of your agency we will be able to continue watching and caring for Darla and we thank you again.”
