Frankie’s Friends helped Archie receive emergency hip (FHO) surgery at BluePearl in Clearwater FL. This is a note from Archie’s family.
“I am so thankful for Frankie’s Friends, helping us with our baby! It is a long story. Our baby ended up breaking the bone that connects his hip to his leg. We brought him to an emergency ER that night and they mistreated him, they put a cast on him, improperly and unnecessarily, causing very severe wounds. So now he had two issues, the broken leg and the wound care. The wound care was so severe that it was necrotic and needed a debridement and continual wound care twice daily. It was a very difficult couple of months and financially it was very difficult on us. We ended up going to BluePearl for a surgery consult and the surgery was way out of our price range. I was in nursing school and my husband was trying to become a teacher. Let’s just say money was super tight. They told us about Frankie’s Friends and we went forward with the procedure of a FHO. Now our kitty, Archie is postop a couple of months and he is running around with his brothers and sisters at the house. He couldn’t be better. I’m so thankful for everything that Frankie‘s Friends provided. You gave us room to breathe while going through this difficult time in our lives. I’m so thankful for Frankie’s Friends!”
