Frankie’s Friends helped Tootsie receive emergency ear canal surgery at BluePearl in Mount Pleasant SC. This is a note from her family.
“Thank so much for helping and my fur baby. “Tootsie” is 12 1/2 years old. She made it through the surgery but it took longer than expected. Then ended up along with the ear ablation - they also had to remove her ear as well. Suspected Cancer. She was in a lot of pain for a good 3 weeks. She lightened up after the cone of shame and the sutures came out. However her right eye no longer blinks and she seems to have a little paralysis on the right side of her face. She started being her old self again. But she has to have surgery again on the scar tissue. Again thank you so much.”
