Frankie’s Friends helped Hallie receive emergency surgery for a ruptured ligament. This is a note from her family.

My wife and I are 85 years old and are very active. We have had dogs our whole married life and adore our Hallie. We have always adopted rescues and Hallie is no different. She has been a great companion for us and can’t image not having her around. She loved her walks every day to socialize with the neighbors and their dogs. Currently, she is unable to take those walks because of her knee situation. She is only 7 years old and still has a lot of life to live.

Our income is limited and the surgery/surgeries are very expensive; much more than we imagined. The prognosis is very good for rehab and leg use again. There is more than likely a need for surgery on both knees.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to receive any other help for our Hallie Girl. It would mean the world to us if we are able to receive help from Frankie’s Friends National Fund. I am sure you have more requests than you can process but we are truly blessed to have Hallie and would like to have her around as long as possible. In the event that something happens to my wife and I, my daughter will step in and care for her the rest of her life. Our daughter loves animals and has her own as well as fosters for a rescue.
