Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Pugsley receive life changing surgery for a luxating patella. This is a note from Pugsley’s family.
“This means more to us than you ever know. Having a child with sensory processing, autism and emotional challenges this dog has meant so much to him. She is an outlet for him and she helps calming him down on a rough day or helps him in a store and sometimes just when things are tough with school or whatever he turns to her. This grant means so much that we won’t have to surrender his emotional support animal to a shelter and he won’t sink into depression as a result of this. It means that she’ll be able to walk and be back to normal and she won’t lose the use of her legs.”
